This position is organizationally aligned under the Patient Care Services (PCS) in the Connected Care Program(CCP) of the Butler VA Medical and reports to the Connected Care Program Manager (CCPM). The incumbent functions include planning, budgeting, staffing, directing, ensuring the development and tracking of outcomes, and ensuring evaluation and tracking of the program.

Major Duties Include:
Researches and analyze Connected Care Program Program data
Makes recommendations for improving data management process based on their analysis of the data.
The incumbent develops and maintains a variety of data bases and conducts statistical analyses and generates reports.
Manage space needs including coordinating moves, space requests, assessing needs and making recommendations.
Collaborates with the Connected Care Program Manager in all planning efforts for program development aimed at improving service as needed to improve efficiencies.
Generates standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service agreements for all new programs.
Participated in various medical center and/or VISN committee as representing the facility Connected Care Program.
Assists Connected Care Program Manager with personnel management issues including disciplinary/adverse actions.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 02/16/2024.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment.
You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: 1) Performs Telehealth Equipment Inventory, equipment refresh process, and/or equipment transfers, 2) Monitors/Assures documents/resources are up to date on the Facility Telehealth Sharepoint and updated within Telehealth Services Agreements as resources change, 3) Maintain communications regarding ongoing technical support; telehealth equipment, peripheral devices and clinical staff needs as technology involves and 4) Uses Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Database management and other software programs; VISTA, CPRS and clinic management
to perform daily duties.. OR,
Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have I have master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. OR,
Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education beyond graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants..

Physical Requirements: The work will be primarily sedentary with some walking around, and moving equipment within the administrative offices and clinics areas within the main medical center and community clinics.
Work Environment: The work will be performed in an administrative office and the various clinics of the medical center that exposes the incumbent to the communicable diseases common of the client population.
