This position is located in Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations, Investor Program Office (IPO). As an Immigration Services Analyst, you will perform research and conduct studies, plan and conduct a variety of management programs or activities, and facilitate and/or conduct training for USCIS staff and contractors on standardized procedures and processes related to their duties.

Duties

Researches, prepares and provides verbal or written technical guidance, information and support to various USCIS office management staff in the application of management systems and/or programs. Serves on problem-solving teams to further organizational goals or improve programs and management processes or systems. Serves as the Contracting Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for the Investor Program Office. Composes final documents covering complex information, including policies, training manuals/materials, management reports, or conference materials. Collects relevant information that is needed to identify issues and draw sound conclusions; gather and analyze facts, determining the accuracy of the data, defining the problem, and identifying solutions. Coordinates with personnel to resolve issues with pending and/or completed applications and petitions. Verifies data for accuracy, timeliness and completeness and takes appropriate corrective action when necessary. Formulates and determines policies, procedures, guidelines and objectives to support USCIS initiatives. Develops, facilitates and/or conducts training to USCIS staff and contractors on standardized procedures and processes related to their duties. Develops and/or conducts briefing presentations, conference materials and other communications for supervisors and executive management. Provides technical assistance and support to national and field office management programs.

Qualifications

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/12/2024. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/12/2024. GS-13: You qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties: Collecting, analyzing, and reporting performance data from USCIS systems of record; Writing and updating policies, procedures, and guidance for a variety of audiences; Overseeing a contract and providing substantive feedback on contractor performance and ensuring contractor accountability.
