About the Position: This position is with the US Army Cadet Command 3rd Brigade, University of Missouri-Columbia located in Columbia, Missouri.
Duties
Provides staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management for the SROTC Program and affiliates within the Task Force structure.
Forecasts, requests and manages the Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA) and Military Personnel, Army (MPA) budgets for the host program and affiliates within the task force structure.
Accounts for property and manages various classes of supplies at the host and affiliated programs.
Utilizes various automated computer/software applications to prepare documents involving supply transactions, management reports and logistics.
Requirements

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

- Must successfully complete drug testing
- May perform additional duties as the Unit Prevention Leader (UPL), which requires travel to conduct testing.
- Required to complete and sign the DA Form 5019, Designation of Testing Designated Positions.
- Completion of Unit Armor Course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the Certification Training
- Completion of Contracting Officers Representative course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the Certification Training
- May be required to complete a 1- year probation period
- May be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazardous Material Endorsement (HAZMAT).
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Moderate lifting required up to 50 pounds
- Must sign DA 5019
- Must sign Lautenberg Agreement
- Business travel required 30% of the time/May require 6-12 weeks TDY in Support of Cadet Command Summer Training/ Employee required to attend C3P0 training 3rd week from EOD at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes work that involves ensuring record management files are properly maintained; following procedures to inspect supplies or equipment for discrepancies; operating automated word processing equipment with hardware and software components to prepare a variety of material including correspondence, forms, reports, etc; maintaining property book in accordance with applicable regulations.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
