This position is located with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Midwest Region, Office of the Regional Director, Branch of Budget in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Travel and Relocation expenses will be authorized in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations.

Duties
Perform administrative, technical and analytical duties in the formulation, presentation, and execution of the budget.
Formulates budget estimates including the planning, development and review of funding requirements for the support of budgeting plans and operation programs.
Responsible for advising program managers on the status and availability of funds in accounts.
Serves as the technical authority on budget formulation and execution for the region and agencies.
Reviews submitted tribal budgets for adherence to Regional Office format, policy and procedures, providing technical assistance to regional, agency and tribal officials in the preparation and analysis of annual tribal budget submissions.

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: (OPM Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for Administration and Management Positions and Individual Occupational Requirements for GS-0560: Budget Analysis).
GS-12: I have at least one year of full-time specialized experience or the equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-11 in the Federal Service (obtained in either the public or private sector). Examples of this experience include performing budget administration duties requiring review and analysis; reviewing submitted budgets for adherence to required formats, policy and instruction; collecting, coordinating, analyzing, and disseminating budgetary, statistic, logistical and demographic data; analyzing policies, assessing related performance budget metrics; participating and carrying out annual review of multi-year budget.
