You will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist in the NAVAL HISTORY HERITAGE CMD DETACH.

Duties

You will develop activity plans that identify actions, responsibilities and schedules that must be met to ensure that proper and timely support is provided. You will review reports, plans and schedules to determine material support requirements. You will identify and resolve problems relative to material support You will attend meetings/briefings on the status of products and programs. You will make purchase of specific defined items or purchases using standard purchase methods.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1. Preforming budget/accounting functions which includes processing and recording of billing invoices, recording of obligations, expenditures ect. Developing plans of action and milestones to effectively monitor and assure effective supply program support. Conducting research to determine causes of inventory discrepancies by checking all records ( e.g., locator log, receipts, material transfers, surveys, and other available sources). Utilizing inventory processes and procedures to manage physical receipts, material custody, inventory compliance, and distribution of material. Education

Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
