You will serve as a Supervisory Firefighter of NAVCONSTRBATCTRGPT.
Duties
You will conduct proficiency training evaluations to monitor training needs of employees.
You will collaborate with fire fighter personnel to ensure emergency responses (e.g., fire suppression, injured victims, hazardous spill cleanup) are assigned.
You will develop training for junior employees in fire protection or prevention to enhance performance in emergency support functions.
You will perform an initial patient assessment in a medical emergency.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing immediate oversight and direction of day-to-day operations at a fire station for an assigned shift 2) Performing supervisory duties and responsibilities up to 25% or more of the duty time 3). Providing hazardous material incident and emergency response 4) Providing basic life support procedures as needed for each emergency call.
This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications: Fire Officer III, Fire Inspector II and Fire Instructor II, Firefighter I & II, Hazmat Tech, Hazmat IC. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement. Also requires National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT)If you do not possess all of the above certifications, and provide verification with your application, you will be rated ineligible.
