As a POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), WG-5378-5/8/10, you will:
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
Have experience or training that has provided the candidate with sufficient knowledge to complete the work of this occupational series. Experience or training which demonstrates the candidates ability to lead other technicians engaged in the duties performed by this occupational series.
Specialized Experience WG-05:
Have at least 6 months of experience using common hand tools and making repetitive repairs. Experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the simpler and routine duties of the trade. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
Specialized Experience WG-08:
Have at least 12 months of experience must demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic theory and the makeup and operation of the various individual systems and their interrelationships. Experience using a small variety of test and measurement devices. Experience removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing a variety of parts, components and accessories. Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
Specialized Experience WG-10:
Have at least 18 months of experience removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing parts, components, and accessories. Experience which provided working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic theory applying to powered support equipment and systems; and skill to replace, fit, install, and make adjustments. Experience which provided working knowledge of the makeup and operation of the various individual systems maintained and their interrelationships. Experience reading and interpreting parts lists, manufactures' repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
