Duties
You will perform as the Technical Project Officer, technical expert and lead for projects related to designing, developing, evaluation, and supporting projects associated with Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment/Systems (TMDE/S).
You will direct the design, documentation, fabrication, and integration of program requirements to meet established schedules, cost, performance parameters, and quality standards.
You will monitor program execution to ensure fulfillment of objectives (e.g., technical, cost, schedule, performance).
You will manage a software intensive program for an organization.
You will oversee technical or project management teams in developing performance work statements to ensure that they accurately reflect the technical requirements of a given contract and/or task order.
You will analyze needs and requirements for development of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition systems program initiatives.
You will manage a program acquisition life-cycle (e.g., development, design, costs, acquisition and contracts strategies) in support of a program.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying interdisciplinary engineering concepts, principles, and procedures to manage, coordinate and accomplish all aspects of facilities equipment maintenance (e.g. rebuild, repair, modification, inspection, quality assurance, design, construction, manufacture, calibration, modification, and testing).
