The selectee for this position will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Weapons Department of STRATEGIC WEAPONS FACILITY PACIFIC. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.

Duties

You will serve as Program Manager for the SWFPAC Accountability Program and is the Accountability Officer for all West Coast SSBN's and SWFPAC strategic assets. You will accurately record property transactions, maintaining current records pertaining to the Stock Record Account, and reconciles semi-annual inventories with accountable records and stockpile emergency verification. You will coordinate SWFPAC and Fleet personnel (i.e. military, civilian and contractor) to accomplish accountability and custodial functional and reporting requirements. You will communicate on a regular basis with SSP Headquarters, SWFPAC Leadership, SWFLANT, SSBN(s), DTRA etc. to ensure continuity in programmatic development, administration, documentation, management and review are consistent. You will monitor and tracks condition of all strategic assets and strategic asset related material for environmental, operational, status and defect conditions. You will provide oversight and assistance to the contractor for strategic asset and strategic asset related material production operations. You will lead or assists with special projects as assigned and coordinates efforts driven by emergency MILCON projects and initiatives.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to qualify for inclusion into the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing program analysis on Department of Navy (DON) weapons documentation.
