Duties
You will be responsible for performing test, calibration, certification, repair, modification, rebuild and overhaul of the full complement of electronic, electrical, electro mechanical and precision measurement standards.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting, performing diagnostic tests on the equipment, isolating problems and determines corrective action by use of a mobile laptop and direct digital control system.
You will be responsible for analyzing discrepancies found during the monitoring process with components and process logic and takes appropriate measures to adjusting sensors or repairing problems.
You will be responsible for operating dampers, valve actuators, and digital input controller for temperature, flow status, configuration, and staging of HVAC systems.
You will analyze and isolate component malfunctions in such items as high and low voltage infrared power sources, amplifiers and associated units.

- The mechanics frequently lift, carry, or otherwise handle items weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) independently, and occasionally in excess of 50 pounds with the help of weight handling equipment or with assistance from other workers.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Task to be performed include maintaining, repairing and calibrating electronic test, measurement and reference equipment (e.g. Automated Test Systems) for the measurement of a variety of electronic values, quantities and relationships. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
