This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Program Integrity (CPI), Provider Enrollment & Oversight Group (PEOG), Division of Enrollment Systems (DES).
As a Supervisory IT Specialist, GS-2210-14, you will serve as a Deputy Director overseeing support of all elements of the agency's provider enrollment operations.
Duties
Teams with the Division Director to mobilize a diverse staff of systems analysis, data management, as well as program and management analysis to coordinate all facets of the Division’s work.
Serves as a program expert and resource to CMS as well as other internal and external stakeholders, on issues related to the development, implementation, and integration of systems related to national level provider enrollment processes.
Oversees or personally manages ongoing program administration work on behalf of the Division, including contracts, budget, schedule, risks and other relevant priorities.
Directs and manages collaboration with CMS business owners, partners and stakeholders to ensure processes and requirements are sufficiently documented to achieve specific outcomes.

BASIC REQUIREMENT
You must have IT-related experience, at the GS-13 grade level in the federal government, demonstrating each of the four competencies listed:

AND
In order to qualify for the GS-14, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:
Overseeing Information Technology projects to ensure business objectives are met; AND
Advising management and/or stakeholders on the development of Information Technology systems; AND
Leading teams or groups in accomplishing program related initiatives or projects.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
