As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position is located in the ATO), Management Services, Financial Services Directorate, Business Analysis and Formulation Group (AJG-R3).

Duties

These teams are responsible for developing and managing the packages for the ATO budget formulation process; assisting the Office of Budget & Programs (ABP) in distributing allowances for the ATO’s Operations (OPS) and F&E Activity 5 (A5) accounts; tracking and analyzing financial data; gathering, analyzing and prioritizing data on ATO Operations programs funding requirements; and, for coordinating ATO formal program responses to questions from OST/OMB/Congress on budget submissions and other finance-related inquiries.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J, FG/GS-14 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE DEFINED AS:Experience with the budget formulation process to participate in the formulation of out year requirements and proposed future funding needs.Experience using data management tools to analyze and develop recommendations on complex policies, develop new procedures, and approaches to improve ATO facility support and services.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
