Duties

Works under close supervision of the banquet supervisor or leader who provides specific instruction for task to be performed. Supervisor is consulted when difficult situations occur. Performance is observed while in progress to ensure compliance with instructions and established procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be willing to work an occasional rotating shift to include weekend and/or holiday shift as needed based on mission needs.
• Satisfactorily complete all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a medical examination.
• Required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federal controlled facilities.

Qualifications

1. Must meet the state/local age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages (18) within 2 weeks of submitting application packet. 2. Applicants must be able to follow simple oral and/or written instructions. 3. No prior training or work experience is required. This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits. There is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligations and work scheduling requirements).
