You will serve as a Program Analyst, Acquisition/Operations Lead in the PMA-264 of PEO FOR AIR ASW.
Duties
You will conduct on-site discussions with operating officials to gather information for analysis.
You will develop methods to solve process problems to improve productivity within an organization.
You will develop strategic plans based on information from performing quantitative or qualitative analyses.
You will create a written plan of action to document continuous process improvement initiatives.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field A Level 04. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Perform as Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager for day-to-day operations of the program office. 2) Serve as primary interface with organizations and individuals outside the headquarters program office for matters involving more than one of the team's acquisition programs and for those matters not directly associated with a specific acquisition program. 3) Analyze needs and synthesize requirement information necessary for development of specific objectives for program initiatives and for planning; 4) Assure that initial and long-range program objectives comply with requirements of the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, PEO(A) and NAVAIR. 5) Coordinate all external taskings to the IPT's. 6) Maintain the day-to-day program operating integrity across the program office IPT's Integrates all planning with the overall program team effort and that of any other participating organizations and agencies when necessary. 7) Coordinate the preparation of acquisition documents, specifications, and standards that define parameters of the program. 8) Synthesize critical program issues, documentation, and relevant information to support program reviews.
