The primary purpose of the work in this position is to manage and maintain inventory control and property management activities for the Property Management Program within the National Gallery. This position involves overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies, as well as maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies related to property management.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for GS-0346-11.
GS-11: Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the federal GS-09 level, managing the supply chain for a large organization’s inventory.
GS-12: Candidates must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent in responsibility to the federal GS-11 level, managing the supply chain for a large organization’s inventory.
Other Relevant Eligibility Criteria: Requires ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Inventory Control – Skill in managing inventory to ensure proper storage, security, and inspection of incoming shipments.
Property Management – Ability to maintain records on all property related assignments and incorporate energy-efficient practices.
Auditing – Knowledge of audit methods, principles, and regulations to objectively review the organizations processes.
