About the Position: This Administrative Officer position is located at US ARMY TEST & EVALUATION COMMAND WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, COMMANDING GENERAL with duty location at WHITE SANDS MSL RGE, NM.

Duties

Performs a variety of duties including but not limited to principal advisor and Assistant to the Range Commanders Council (RCC) Executive Officer (EO), serving as Administrative Officer for the Secretariat, and acting as EO in the absence of same. Plans, implements, directs and coordinates administrative and personnel support functions for the RCC. This organization provides in depth administrative support and coordination/ management for a collaborative group of twenty-one member ranges/ Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB). The organization's structure and hierarchy consists of MRTFBs Commanders Council (predominantly SES and Flag Officers), the Executive Council (predominantly the Technical Directors? 06 and GS15), the Technical Representatives group (predominantly GS14 and 05), and fourteen (working groups) committees.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
