This position is part of the Selective Service System, Support Services Directorate, Contracts and Logistics Division. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating logistic programs and functions that requires a high level of analytical and technical ability to apply these services to SSS programs and functions.
Duties
Support day-to-day administrative operations and providing direction within an administrative support services program including at least two of the following: space, facilities, property, print, mail, shipping or safety
Resolve critical support services problems and developing new approaches and techniques for use by others.
Communicate with senior management, as well as contractors, vendors and other federal partners.
Qualifications
At the GS-0342-13, you must meet the following qualification:
Possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level that demonstrated knowledge of the methods and procedures for providing or performing a variety of functions and services applicable to the position to be filled; ability to plan, organize, and control work involving diverse activities; ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others; and skill in oral and written communications. More specifically, this requirement involves experience in applying regulations, guidance, principles and techniques to oversee the planning, development and implementation of the technical aspects of logistics programs; experience overseeing or applying budget management principles and practices (i.e. ability to maintain and manage financial resources); experience applying communicative techniques to effectively and diplomatically interact with internal and external customers.
