About the Position: This position is with the US Army Cadet Command, 6th Brigade Headquarters at Hunter AFB in Savannah GA.

Duties
Monitor Cadet Command Information Management System (CCMIS)
Responsible for timely and accurate processing of all brigade cadet actions
Perform complete review and process all cadet actions from subordinate units
Perform complete review and process all cadet actions from subordinate units
Cross-train personnel for the Brigade Accessions Packet Review Board
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 10% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this job. Specialized experience is defined as work performed at the GS-05 level in federal service: work that involves reviewing applications to determine eligibility, completing forms and maintaining the military record jackets and maintaining an automated Human Resource system to review applicant material. OR I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes work that involves 1) applying a standard body of military personnel duties, regulations, procedures and operations concerning the preparation of enrollment and contract documents to maintain and update military record jackets for ROTC cadets, and to perform military functions in support of unit military cadre. 2) ROTC organization and functions of the Detachment sufficient to provide regulatory guidance and program eligibility information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-05)

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
