The primary purpose of this position: To serve as Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division's Retail Item Manager (RIM) assigned to the Logistics Branch to monitor requirements and provide customer support for the CCSD wholesale supply accounts.

Duties
DUTY 1: Performs item management duties in support of wholesale cryptologic and cyber depot operations.
DUTY 2: Conducts materiel management research and trend analysis.
DUTY 3: Provides materiel management support to internal and external customers.
DUTY 4: Performs technical materiel management functions.
DUTY 5: Perform general administrative support.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- Position is designated special sensitive, and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

- This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station to perform temporary duty assignments traveling in military and/or commercial aircraft.
- Work is a combination sedentary (desk research and computer usage) and non-sedentary (visits to functional/industrials areas to conduct research or support operations).

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
This is a GG-09 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-09 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Entry/Developmental" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-09 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and methods; knowledge of data entry and processing of supply transactions in an automated supply system, word processing, databases, and automated spreadsheets; and knowledge of supply and communications software and programs. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of logistics/COMSEC management principles, policies, practices, laws, regulations, techniques, and operations to include specific procedures and preventative safety factors for transportation, handling, accountability and storage of secure communications equipment/keys.
2. Detailed knowledge of standardized wholesale supply procedures/functions/operations, forms and nomenclature, program requirements and work methods.
3. Ability to apply logistics/COMSEC procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies. In addition, the ability to collaborate with functional specialist, program offices, higher headquarter activities and field customers resolve complex or unusual logistics problems; identifies corrective actions, program enhancements, and policy changes to ensure program/mission goals are met.
4. Ability to research, compile, maintain and analyze supply information and reconcile discrepancies related to supply records, files, data, and document files. Ability to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc. to accomplish task and resolve complex supply problem.
5. Knowledge of wholesale materiel management systems (i.e., CLASS, CDAS, D035A, D043, etc.)
6. Knowledge of safety and security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of controlled and classified assets/information.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
