Duties
This position is located in the Office of Field Operations, Charlotte Field Division in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Industry Operations Investigator (Director of Industry Operations), GS-1801-15, candidates MUST also have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-14.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Specialized experience includes:
Planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating firearms and explosives regulatory programs; AND
Supervising a field staff of Industry Operation Investigators; AND
Briefing and advising personnel at a National and Headquarter level on programs and issues related to regulatory matters.
