THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - TITLE 32, Position Description Number PDD0881P01 and is part of the KY DOL, National Guard.

Duties

As a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - TITLE 32, GS-0346-12, you will direct the development of the logistics support plan and guidance for units, organizations, and activities in support of federal and state missions to integrate the following command logistic functions; plans, operations, policies, SASMO equipment readiness, command property management, command supply discipline program, supply excellence program, Connelly Food Service Award Program, and DoD National Transportation Association Award Program. Evaluate logistics data and requirements from JFHQ staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations to direct development and implementation of logistic support plans, policies, operations, and other actions to support federal and state missions. Direct the establishment of the logistics operations cell to support the JFHQ Emergency Operations Center for federal and state missions. Serve as the primary advisor to the DCSLOG/G4 on logistics automation matters. Management oversight of the General Services Administration Lease Vehicle Program. Perform a full range of supervisory functions. Initiate formal requests for personnel actions and ensure accuracy of position descriptions. Ensure a safe working environment for all employees in accordance with current safety and OSHA requirements and directives. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT: Experience involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 36 months experience identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulations, laws, or practices. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.
