Duties
SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is provide a wide variety of training program functions and services for the 4th Training Squadron F-15E training courses. The position provides a wide variety of in/out processing, training and assignment duties, training schedules, Flying Evaluation Board duties, Student record processing and posting, management analysis and statistics reports.
DUTIES
Severs as the single point of contact and representative for dealing with all aspects of F-15E student enrollment, washback, elimination, and graduation conducted by the 4th Fighter Wing.
Serves as the single point of contact for inbound and outbound F-15E FTU students.
Provides initial analysis services such as statistical summaries, reports, trend analysis, etc. for review by higher level authorities.
Serves the technical representative on procedures and regulatory guidance to Flying Evaluation Board (FEB) Waiver of Flying Evaluation Board President, members, and recorder.
Responsible for ensuring the administrative and clerical support work is accomplished as required for all student training requirements.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, for the GS-1702, Education and Training Technician Series.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant has at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-06 (or higher) grade level or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes detailed knowledge of training and educational principles. A familiarization of training program administrative support, accounting, and methods associated with training programs. Analytic skills and comparison of data and information. Must be able and skillful of understanding the functional requirements associated with the training programs and possess the ability to draw conclusions from certain trends or comparisons. Knowledge of a variety of computer software in order to retrieve and produce information reports or statistics. Practical experience in office automation devices and experience in utilizing a variety of software programs to develop or produce informational reports or statistics.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Detailed knowledge and familiarization of training and educational principles, ACC policies, theory, practices, and instructional techniques.
2. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
3. Knowledge of management analyst related work. Trend analysis, comparison review, etc. Requires the skill of collecting and compiling information for a variety of purposes.
4. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, graphs, and skilled in typing.
5. Ability to read, interpret, and make judgments pertaining to complex issues and regulatory guidance.
6. Ability to organize and file information, publications and regulations.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
