Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• This position requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical examination and current immunizations.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training
• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in and knowledge of methods and procedures relating to food preparation and presentation gained in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club or similar food activity. Ability to follow oral and written instructions, work safely, and do simple arithmetic. Knowledge of operating and cleaning food service equipment, characteristics of various foods, and the ability to season food and decide when foods are done is required. Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 45 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time. Must be at least 18 years of age. Successful completion of Tier I (Tl) Investigation is required. Position of Trust. Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
