The incumbent serves as the Reservist Program Manager responsible for the supervision, management and maintenance of the Reservist workforce within an assigned cadre. Serves as the principal advisor to the Cadre Coordinator on issues involving the Reservists as it pertains to the major operations of the assigned cadre. Manages the recruitment, selection and placement of Reservists based on Force Structure needs.

To qualify for this Program Manager position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:
Applying emergency management doctrine, policy and guidance to programs; and
Briefing leadership on administrative information in support of disaster operations; and
Interpreting and conveying guidelines to stakeholders; and
Leading a team and ensuring readiness through training and qualification oversight.
