About the Position: This position is located in the NWD-Portland District- Operations Division-Willamette Valley Project.
Duties
Coordinates the operations and maintenance of all operating projects.
Adjusts assignments of project personnel to meet workload demand.
Maintains relationships with federal, state, and local agencies or special interest groups.
Ensures safety procedures are in place provide a safe environment for employees and visitors.
Supervises preparation of technical/annual reports, special reports, studies, project budget, and support activities.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience 1) Directing operations and maintenance activities of an industrial manufacturing facility -OR- energy production facility- OR- a multipurpose water management project which could include flood control and/or navigation; and 2) Providing oversight of the development/execution of an annual operating budget and environmental compliance programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of minimum qualifications/specialized experience as defined above.
