Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Hydroelectric Power Plant Operator Senior. Duties

-Fulfills the role as a journeyman Senior Hydroelectric Powerplant Operator in a multi-dam and powerplant project. -Operates the main units, station service boards, pumping plant, and water conveyance equipment in order to meet electrical load and water schedules. -Prepares switching orders and performs switching and/or valve lineups to configure plant systems for equipment maintenance or repair. -Provides technical support/direction to various crafts, engineers, powerplant operators, etc. -Provides requested information in a timely and professional manner. -Perform on the spot evaluations of system and equipment conditions in order to properly restore system and equipment to operation. -Evaluates and analyzes operating interruptions and diagnoses cause. -Perform facility inspections to insure the proper operation of the equipment.
