This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Force Readiness Command (FORCECOM), Aviation Technical Training Center (ATTC), Performance Systems Branch, Elizabeth City, NC.
Duties
This position serves as a Visual Information Specialist (Videographer) responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing a wide range of visual materials to convey information, promote public awareness, and support the agency's communication efforts.

- May be required to fly on Coast Guard aircraft.
Qualifications
Applicants for the GS-11 must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-9 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience include: successfully operating videographer equipment to yield productions that meet the needs of the customer; designing, laying out, and preparing a wide variety of general and technical illustrations or photographs to reproduce the appearance of specific objects or pieces of technical equipment; producing photographic slides, posters, brochures, and manuals with speed and accuracy necessitated by delivery timelines.
OR
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position.
OR
Combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
