You will serve as a Supply Technician in the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Supply Support Department (S3D), Technical Division of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND.
Duties
You will apply a thorough knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions governing supply operations, program requirements and customer service operations.
You will interpret and follow supply policies, procedures, and instructions in support of supply operations performing functions such as: conduct extensive and exhaustive research, resolve material deficiencies or inventory discrepancies.
You will make the determination of the most appropriate points of contact to resolve supply discrepancies and to process frustrated material.
You will utilize automated supply information data systems such as Submarine Logistic Center/Submarine Logistics Data Base (SLC/SLDB) to perform research, compile operational statistics and resolve supply discrepancies.
You will work independently or as a team member and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
You will use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to communicate with other government personnel, manage supply data and assemble reports.
You will use various versions of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) System and Application Products (SAP) applications.

Qualifications
You must have at least one year of Supply Technician specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a thorough knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions governing supply operations, program requirements and customer service operations. Specialized experience must include:
Interpret and follow supply policies, procedures, and instructions in support of supply operations performing functions such as: conduct extensive and exhaustive research, resolve material deficiencies or inventory discrepancies.
Apply a knowledge of the Strategic Systems Program (SSP), Strategic Weapons Facility, Pacific (SWFPAC), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), FLCPS and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) organizations sufficient to allow making the determination of the most appropriate points of contact to resolve supply discrepancies and to process frustrated material.
Experience working independently or as a team member and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
Proficient in the use of various versions of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) System and Application Products (SAP) applications and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) to communicate with other government personnel, manage supply data and assemble reports. Utilize automated supply information data systems such as Submarine Logistic Center/Submarine Logistics Data Base (SLC/SLDB) to perform research, compile operational statistics and resolve supply discrepancies.
