About the Position: Serves as a Senior Project officer/advisor for logistics policy, supply and distribution management operations, located in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Represent the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-4 in conferences and meetings.
Perform routine analysis of Equipment On Hand data related to Class VII items of senior leader interest.
Act as key person responsible for providing DA-level subject matter expert input into materiel management programs.
Conduct general mentorship for journeymen team members and detailed mentorship for assigned trainees and interns.
Serve as a Senior Project officer/advisor for logistics policy and supply and distribution management operations.
Requirements

- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes interpreting various laws, orders, rules, and regulations to identify factors to provide logistical support to operations; developing supply policies in support of logistics transformation; participating in ad hoc groups to study or analyze issues; and representing leadership at conferences and meetings with top-level representatives.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
