About the Position: Serves as a Senior Project officer/advisor for logistics policy, supply and distribution management operations, located in Arlington, VA.

Duties

Represent the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-4 in conferences and meetings. Perform routine analysis of Equipment On Hand data related to Class VII items of senior leader interest. Act as key person responsible for providing DA-level subject matter expert input into materiel management programs. Conduct general mentorship for journeymen team members and detailed mentorship for assigned trainees and interns. Serve as a Senior Project officer/advisor for logistics policy and supply and distribution management operations.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position may require temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
