This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for serving as a Functional Subject-Matter Expert, performing daily support of systems, and ensuring documentation is updated related to data.
Duties
As a IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) at the GS-2210-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Develop/modify the functional design specifications, project transmittals, database change requests, system change requests and similar documents.
Conduct in-depth analysis of the customers requested needs by conducting feasibility studies and trade-off analyses.
Research specific regulations, standards, and policies, governing a variety of topics, such as system performance, response time, processing conditions, and reporting requirements.
Provide production support assistance to resolve emergent critical issues in assigned software as well as in system and subsystem components not directly assigned to him/her.
Analyze special and unique problems that may affect the feasibility of the request and make appropriate recommendations, consult with customers to identify and specify requirements.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Understanding information technology (IT) principles as they pertain to functional analysis and management in software development.
Interpreting and incorporating customer needs during design.
Creating realistic proposals for solving complex problems.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
