You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of CDR NAVY EXPEDITIONARY COMBAT COMMAND.
Duties
You will develop, coordinate, promulgate, and administer supply, logistics, and financial policies and procedures.
You will review supply operating procedures.
You will serve as liaison between supporting and subordinate commands, as well as Dept of Defense, Dept of Navy, Defense Logistics Agency, Naval Reserve Organizations and other military service offices to accomplish the most efficient support.
You will review subordinate commands' supply and financial policy and procedures' guidance and provide recommended changes where necessary.
You will perform logistics and financial data collection, analysis, and report generation utilizing various Defense Department, Navy, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems, programs and databases.
You will interpret applicable supply policies, regulations, guidelines from operational readiness, supply, and logistics oriented organizations.
You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for logistics policies and procedures.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience serving as a technical authority and expert consultant with regard to DoD, Navy, and Expeditionary Force supply and financial policies and procedures.
Experience providing inventory management, requisition processing, financial accountability, physical distribution, and storage management.
Experience resolving major conflicts in policy and program objectives.
Experience determining deficient supply system support and evaluating plans and provisions of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency and economy and development alternatives where required.
Experience providing necessary support to the primary activities or operation to secure logistics readiness.
Experience planning, developing and recommending courses of action to the Commander via the chain of command.
