About the Position: Serves as the focal point for all administrative matters required to support the Division Chief of UT&C.
Duties
Coordinate the administrative activities of the organization.
Manage the Distinguished Visitor Program.
Serve as the Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) for the organization.
Serve as the Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the Government Travel Card (GTC) Program.
Submits requests for security clearances for employees.
Maintain records of all personnel actions.
Generates Requests for Personnel Actions (RPAs).
Responsible for the development of training materials.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is a Non-Key Security Cooperation position. The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. Must complete certification in the SC Area of Concentration within the timeframe of 3 years.
- Due to the nature of this position, employees are required to work both planned and unscheduled overtime.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience at the GS-07 level: One year of specialized experience which includes performing management support work, coordinating with Protocol Office for VIP visits; assisting with travel program; and preparing recurring reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
OR
Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Specialized Experience at the GS-09 Level: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting inspections for regulatory compliance; publications and records management; monitoring budget; coordinating travel program; and utilizing clerical or administrative procedures to complete reports and/or correspondence. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Specialized Experience at the GS-11 level: One year of specialized experience which includes: providing operational and administrative support services duties such as assisting with civilian personnel management, management of protocol requirements for visiting VIP, procurement and acquisition of equipment and services to program managers and utilizing an automated travel system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Education
