Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will be in a non-pay status for 9 pay periods (18 weeks) from November to end of March. Open to the first 101 applicants or until 01/29/2024 whichever comes first. Duties

The duty station for the park is: Kelso or Barstow, CA Performs custodial/janitorial duties: Independently perform the full range of Custodial Worker (Motor Vehicle Operation) duties including the operation and perform minor operator maintenance on light duty vehicles such as pickup trunks, panel trucks, flatbed trucks, carryalls, sedans, crew cab pickup trucks, which typically have an approximate gross weight of up to 10,000 pounds. Lift and move objects over 50 pounds to load, unload, and move supplies, materials and equipment from trucks, trailers, dollies, etc. Perform duties on ladders and/or scaffolds when required. Provides general labor assistance to others in the maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, trails, etc. Perform full range of cleaning duties in an assigned area following general instructions on the work to be done.

This position has a selective factor (SCREEN OUT) that you must possess a valid driver's license by the closing date. To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision. (SCREEN OUT) Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean and in order) Ability to interpret instructions, specifications etc. (other than blueprints) Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
