About the position: This position will be assigned to the Scott AFB Golf Course.
This is a Flexible position, 0-40 hours.
Duties
Uses suitable integrated pest management control methods to reduce and control hazards to public health, unwanted vegetation and harmful insects that would cause damage to the golf course.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent must pass a pre-employment drug test and is subject to random drug testing.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive. If selected for this position, incumbent will be required to provide a copy of their Official Driving Record.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must possess and maintain a state pesticide ID card with "General Standards" certification. Must have experience in grass seeds, fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides, algaecides, soil and sand mixtures. Skill in pesticide and toxic chemical disposal include proper use and safety procedures. Experience which demonstrates the ability to manipulate both tractor and equipment controls at the the same time. Must be able to operate power and hand applicators in applying pesticides.
