Duties

This position is located under the Office of Field Operations, Houston Field Division in San Antonio, Texas.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-13, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12. GS-13 - You qualify if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal, State, or Local government or equivalent public or private sector experience, performing the following duties: Using a variety of intelligence-gathering methods including link analyses, visual investigative analyses, crime mapping, and telephone toll record analyses to support investigative operations; and Conducting open-source and social media intelligence research and analysis in support of assessments, investigations, or operations; and Collecting, analyzing, evaluating and developing analytical products leveraging all applicable intelligence disciplines; and Experience in leveraging geospatial applications or resources to enhance analytical products and law enforcement investigative and operational needs; and Cooperating with counterparts at the Federal, State, and local levels to coordinate intelligence activities; and Provide training, briefings and advice on intelligence tools and methodologies, such as geospatial; and Conducts long-range planning in assigned area of responsibility considering actual and potential problems and presents findings to supervisor or senior intelligence research specialist. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level .
