About the Position: Serves as a Administrative Officer responsible for support administrative functions for the Human Resource Command (HRC) Adjutant General Directorate (TAGD), United States Army Human Resource Command (AHRC). Serves as principal advisor on all HRCCD administrative management matters.

Duties

Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and productions. Identifies a need; gathers, organizes, and maintains information; determines its importance and accuracy, and communicates it by a variety of methods Understands and appropriately applies procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized expertise; maintains credibility with others on technical matters. Works and communicates with clients and customers to satisfy their expectations. Committed to quality services.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent subject to a One-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this position at the GS-09 Level you must possess:
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Only degrees from accredited colleges or universities recognized by the Department of Education are acceptable to meet positive education requirements or to substitute education for experience.
