You will serve as a HEALTH SYSTEM SPECIALIST in the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Military Treatment Facility of NMRTC QUANTICO VA.
This announcement uses the Expansion of Direct Hire Authority Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
Duties
You will serve as the primary liaison between the military member and other agencies.
You will generate standard and customized management reports and charts.
You will set and adjust priorities of work involving multi-sections/units for completion of Medical Evaluation Board cases.
You will coordinate the processing of Medical Evaluation Board Reports of personnel assigned to all branches and ensure quality and accuracy of reports.
8You will prepare and conduct Multidisciplinary Briefings and other various briefings and training evolutions.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: .
Working with medical agencies such as Medical Evaluation Boards, Physical Evaluation boards or similar medical agencies to ensure beneficiaries information is delivered timely.
Interpreting and applying complex policies and regulations to counsel and resolve individual disability cases/claims.
Tracking disability cases and analyze performance metrics and data.
Utilizing ingenuity and resources to execute programs for disability military and civilian personnel.
Utilizing Microsoft office applications.
Communicating orally and in writing.

Successful completion of Two full years of graduate education provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. Must provide transcripts for consideration.
