Duties
-Installs metering, relaying, recording, and control devices with little or no immediate supervision at the journeyman level.
-Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots issues with electrical equipment and devices in electric generating stations, and other ancillary facilities.
-Performs electrical maintenance and repair of bridge and gantry cranes, and elevators as qualified, utilizing a variety of logic sequences and solid state circuitry.
-Responsible for job planning and acquiring tools and equipment to complete assignments.
-Uses and maintains all tools, equipment and materials safely.

Minimum qualifications for trades and labor positions are determined by evaluation of job elements. You must meet at least 2 points on the screen-out element(s) and obtain an average of at least 2 points on all of the job elements in order to be considered qualified for this position.

Education
This position does not allow substituting education for experience.
