You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTEMNT of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.

Duties

You will prepare reports to inform management of supply inventory or supply orders. You will inventory stock to regulate or maintain stock levels. You will generate automated reports to inform management of inventory results. You will collaborate with personnel to prepare inventory procedures.

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods to maintain materials and supplies; 2) Maintaining automated supply systems/programs in accordance with procedures; 3) Tracking supply budget and reporting to verify available funding for the procurement of supplies; and 4) Practicing the execution of property management procedures and material control.
