This is a temporary position that performs general custodial work at Naval Station Everett - Pacific Beach.

Duties

Incumbent sets up food service counters, steam tables, dining room tables, and side service stands with hot and cold foods including meats, vegetables, salads, desserts, bread, butter and beverages. Prepares fruits and vegetables for cooking and serving by washing, peeling, scraping and dicing. Makes coffee, tea, ice water, and other beverages. Cleans equipment in kitchen and dining area. Clears and cleans dining tables, sweeps, mops and waxes floors Moves heavy garbage cans, and assists in unloading supply trucks and storing heavy supplies. Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be able to multi-task and use good judgment Must have the ability to concentrate on uniform individual portions and to take multiple orders upon customer's requests. Knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food.
