Qualifications

Requirements: •         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or equivalent combination of education & experience. •         Minimum 4+ years of experience in a marketing/communications role on Capitol Hill, with an information technology or financial services company, advertising agency, or within a marketing department. •         Knowledge of and ability to implement communications strategies and technology, including but not limited to intranet, direct email campaigns, social media, presentations, and written reports. •         Ability to develop and implement effective marketing and advertising content, including web content. •         Ability to evaluate effectiveness and implement changes as necessary to achieve marketing goals. •         Ability to develop concepts and independently create appropriate content. •         Skill in writing and editing, including technical writing and copywriting. •         Skill in project management. •         Knowledge of CAO services; ability to assess customer needs and develop strategies to meet those needs. •         Knowledge of quality assurance principles. •         Skill in coordination and consultation; ability to manage schedules and develop and deliver presentations. •         Knowledge of and ability various automated systems and software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word and PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop and InDesign), content management systems (e.g., Drupal), and content development systems. •         Ability to analyze data and information. •         Knowledge of user experience design principles. •         All employees within CAO are expected to demonstrate the following general competencies: Accountability, Adaptability, Collaboration, Communication, Customer Orientation, Knowledge of Relevant Policies, Procedures, and Processes, Priority Management, and Problem Resolution. *Continued employment is contingent upon satisfactorily completing a criminal history records check (or other applicable security clearance) and a pre-employment drug-test (pre-identified position only).
