This position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Assistant Commandant for Resources & CFO (CG-8), Office of Resource Management (CG-83), Reimbursable Management Division (CG-835), Washington, DC.
Duties
This position serves as a Budget Analyst, assisting in management and coordination of budget development/analysis, financial management, and budget execution efforts concerning a wide range of programs, and administrative and analytical budget functions for annual, multi-year, no-year, special, revolving, and trust fund accounts.
Requirements

- Time-in-grade requirements must be met by closing date.
Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-12: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lowest grade level (GS-11 level) in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
AT GS-12 Level, applicant MUST MEET the first Condition:
1. Assisting with the management of budget operations, including both budget formulation and execution, for an agency organization or program; AND
Applicant MUST MEET one out of the two conditions below:
2. Analyzing and evaluating the effects of changes on program plans and funding by using data Microsoft suite/software, OR3. Providing guidance and assistance to USCG personnel regarding the policies and procedures pertaining to management aspects of Inter/Intra Agency Agreements (IAAs).
Resume MUST demonstrate that you have met the specialized experience above.
