You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Commander Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMSUBP), Commander, Undersea Surveillance (CUS) Headquarters, Advanced Capabilities and Development Department (N9) of COMMANDER UNDERSEA SURVEILLANCE.
Duties
You will manage a variety of telecommunications systems and projects, operations, configurations, capabilities and limitations.
You will direct and schedule system maintenance, realignments and the activation and deactivation of program assets.
You will manage and supervise the electronic preventive maintenance program, equipment tag out and monitoring program.
You will communicate tasking to team members, including delegating responsibility for particular assignments, projects, and actionable events.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Irregular tours of duty and/or extended duty will be required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: The position functions as Site Supervisor and Senior Government Representative Electronics Technician. As Site representative, incumbent has broad authority as the Senior Government Representative performing services for the direction, control and appraisal of the planning, design, development, construction, repair, maintenance, alteration and inspection of operations and communications systems and is responsible for the tasking and management of assigned contracted personnel. This position is responsible for directing all aspects when Government and military are on board and performing maintenance, resource and task management, technical evaluation of C5ISR systems and requirements.
