This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Facilities to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

Initiate purchase request for supplies, parts, materials, services and equipment to implement parts management program supporting operation and maintenance of all production and test equipment for the installation. Perform market research to determine availability, quality and cost reasonableness of tools required for maintenance and repair of production and test equipment. Analyze repair parts usage to manage stockage level of repair parts. Ensure timely generation of requisitions processed through automated, local purchases, or International Merchant Purchase Authorization Card.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
