About the position: This position will be assigned to the Moos and Brews, Beale AFB, CA. This position is flexible, not guaranteed hours and does not receive benefits. Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds, and pull and push objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds.

Duties

Operates limited-service bars. Prepares a limited variety of alcoholic drinks by selecting proper premix and garnish. Serves beer, soda and wine. Serves patrons directly Receives payment, operates cash register, and makes and returns change to patrons or waiter. Sets up bar for operation and obtains cash bank. Maintains work area neat and clean. Washes bar equipment, glassware, and utensils. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• This position has physical lifting requirement which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages.
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
