This is a Without Compensation position. There will be no pay for work in this position.
Duties
Duties Include:
Conducts data analyses including machine learning and natural language processing
Oversees the scientific conduct of the study by guiding study design and implementing research studies, including development of study protocols providing subject matter expertise and writing manuscripts.
Oversees study operations and works closely with project management team to ensure that the project meets timeline goals and regulatory requirements.
Provides input on methods for analyzing cross-sectional data, as well as longitudinal data methods
Assists senior management to oversee quality, coordination and timelines of study data, facilitating and operationalizing the management of study planning activities
Collaborates with study investigation team members to prepare grants, abstracts, manuscripts and presentations for external meetings.
Management of databases.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday; to be set between the hours of 6:30am to 5:00pm

Qualifications

You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience would typically include but is not limited to: Python (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn, SciPy), Machine learning (Linear/logistic regression,Random Forest, XGBoost, Decision tree, Clustering), Statistical/Predictive Modeling, Tableau, SAS, Jupyter, SQL,Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, GCP, AWS, Flask, NLTK, Github, Linux/Unix, AND;
Education: Applicants must posses possess a Bachelor's level degree with a major study in an academic field related to the medical field, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science appropriate to the work of the position. (transcript must be submitted with application)
Preferred Experience: At least 3 years of experience in developing machine learning and statistical models and in statistical genetics including analysis of RNA-seq data. Experience as a project leader and co-investigator with excellent presentation skills. Experience in presentations and publications with minimum 5 publications, AND:
Preferred Education: a Ph.D level degree with a major study in an academic field related to the medical field, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science appropriate to the work of the position. (transcript must be submitted with application)
