You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST within in the IS OFFICE supporting the PHYSICAL SECURITY PROGRAMS within NAS PENSACOLA SEC DET.

Duties
You will manage programs pertaining to Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection, Physical Security, or Personnel Security.
You will analyze vulnerability assessments to identify security risks.
You will analyze and identify security educational needs of the workforce and weaknesses in the security program to provide solutions.
You will implement practices and methods to achieve security program goals.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: : 1) Implement risk mitigation measures based on the assessment of threats and vulnerabilities; 2) Execute Antiterrorism (AT) program in accordance to policies and procedures; 3) Coordinate with agencies to ensure understanding of antiterrorism security needs of the organization; and 4) Develop discrepancy reports of physical security items for repair or replacement. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

LL.M., if related
