About the position: This position will be assigned to the 773 FSS IT Department on JBER, AK.
This is a Regular Full-Time position. Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Duties
Uses approved electronic software to produce a variety of documents. Transmit and receive documents and messages electronically. Types correspondence, reports, forms, messages, memoranda, statistical or tabular material, where spacing arrangements are complicated, directly in final form without a rough draft. Arranges the material in the form necessitated by the nature of the subject matter, the purpose for which it is to be used, the format required by regulations, style manuals or policy. Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, and maintaining files. Maintains electronic account records. Utilizes approved account management system(s) to perform account creations, modifications, deletions, documentation, and audits. Provides account management support to end-users. Creates, submits, updates, and tracks work order requests. Communicates status updates to internal and external customers. Follows oral and written instructions, policies, and directives. May be assigned the duties of Cybersecurity Liaison (CL), Property Custodian (PC), and/or other additional duties. Performs other related duties as required. This position is not eligible for telework.

Qualifying Experience:
Experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. In addition to the above requirement, applicant is required to demonstrate possession of a high degree of proficiency in typing and knowledge of word processing techniques. Must be a qualified typist. Must be able to communicate clearly, both orally and written. Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of background investigation (Tier 1Level) is required. Must have a valid driver's license. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug test. Must be able to sit for an extended period. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing/or drug use.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
