Duties
The following duties are listed at the WG-10 level for this position:
Climbs and performs tree hazard removal work in a variety of broadleaf and coniferous trees utilizing specialized climbing and felling equipment and techniques.
Identifies tree defects, species characteristics, and other environmental conditions that may affect or compromise climber safety or felling results.
Uses chainsaw(s) to fell trees of all sizes and complexity with accuracy in developed and non-developed areas.
Operates heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, dump trucks, and aerial lift trucks to maneuver logs, trees, and slash around standing trees and buildings on uneven terrain.

Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), by the closing date of this announcement. (Use must provide a copy of your Class A CDL with your application.)
