You will serve as a OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST in the ???????Engineering and Product Support Department, Navy Price Fighters (NPF) Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties
You will perform data analysis to support planning, contracting, program management, financial decisions considering demand and lead times that affect buy/repair recommendations supporting the fleet's requirements.
You will perform, monitor, and implement advanced analytics studies and assigned Operations Research projects that support acquisition duties aligning with NAVSUP analytical strategy and execution in support of strategic guidance and requirements.
You will be responsible for leading Operations Research studies, technical business modeling, DOD AM technologies and engagement with NAVSUP HQ to develop business and logistics policy and enable the implementation of AM into the Navy Supply System
You will help to develop supply chain metrics for the WSS Commander and Vice Commander to track supply chain performance and readiness.

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience performing work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing a mastery level of knowledge in the professional discipline of operations research, mathematics and statistics to perform computer analysis of statistical data and findings and other similar techniques. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Perform, monitor, and implement advanced analytics studies and assigned Operations Research projects that support acquisition duties aligning with analytical strategy and execution in support of Enterprise strategic guidance and fleet requirements; 2) Perform data analysis to support planning, contracting, program management, financial decisions considering demand and lead times that affect buy/repair recommendations supporting the fleet's requirements; and 3) Lead Operations Research studies and efforts, technical business modeling, DOD AM technologies and engagement to develop business and logistics policy and enable the implementation of AM (Additive Manufacturing) into the Navy Supply System.

Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual:
Applicants must possess a degree in Operations Research;OR, have successfully completed at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours MUST have been in calculus.
